Dentsu Aegis US Appoints Patrick Venetucci as First President, Operations & Integration
14 Oct 2016
NEW YORK – Dentsu Aegis Network US CEO Rob Horler today announced that the network has appointed industry veteran Patrick Venetucci as its first President, Operations and Integration. The appointment follows the tremendous growth of Dentsu Aegis in the US, including five acquisitions in the past six months, and positive momentum in both new business and organic growth.
Venetucci is a senior executive with a track record of driving growth, profitability and innovation at global scale. He spent 23 years with Leo Burnett Worldwide, where in addition to client responsibilities for brands like P&G, Philip Morris, and Samsung, he led corporate strategy, M&A, HR and enterprise technology as President of Global Operations. Following Leo Burnett, Venetucci left to found MobileAngelo Group, a technology investment and consulting firm devoted to advancing mobile platforms. Inspired to transform an industry, he initiated a global roll-up of mobile-app development companies across 10 markets worldwide. Most recently, he was a leader of digital transformation at IBM.
With Dentsu Aegis, Venetucci is charged with leading operations and driving continued growth and innovation across Dentsu Aegis US, as well as developing and stewarding the holistic integration of acquisitions as part of the group’s broader focus and commitment to driving collaboration across its operating model. He will report directly to Horler.
“As we work aggressively towards achieving our 2020 global vision of being a 100 percent digital economy business, our growth and success in the US is critical.Over the past 18 months the size, scale and makeup of our US business has evolved dramatically, and Patrick’s robust experience means he deeply understands how companies must operate to create client value at the intersection of creativity, media, data and technology. With Patrick in this dedicated role, we will ensure we are applying the proper rigor and focus to integrating acquisitions into our operating model, as well as driving collaboration across all of our businesses in service of smarter, more agile and integrated client solutions,” he added.
“I am proud to partner with Rob and team as we create the next generation marketing services platform. Dentsu Aegis is unlike other ‘holding companies’ which are encumbered by legacy and layers of complexity. Through smart and aggressive acquisitions of platform companies, Dentsu Aegis offers clients a unique combination of digital storytelling, media, experiences and transformation,” Venetucci said. “This network is wired differently because it is activated by founders who are brimming with entrepreneurial hustle, innovation and commercial sense.”
