Dentsu Aegis Network Announces Key Leadership Promotions for Asia Pacific

Dentsu Aegis Network today announces that Kristian Barnes has been promoted to the role of Regional Chief Client Officer for Dentsu Aegis Network and Duncan Pointer will succeed Kristian moving into the role of CEO of Vizeum Asia Pacific. Kristian will turn his focus to the further development of the group’s client centric approach, while Duncan will focus on the continued growth of Vizeum in his new role leading the business.

Duncan has done a superb job working with Kristian to grow Vizeum. He has built a very strong regional leadership team providing high quality solutions to clients, earning this promotion, and provides excellent continuity as Kristian transitions roles.”
Kristian has been CEO for Vizeum for four years, and in that time it has become one of the fastest growing media agencies in Asia Pacific. He is a successful entrepreneur and transformer of businesses, with over 25 years’ experience in the UK, Australia and Asia Pacific, and has a unique understanding of the communications industry.

Duncan has over 15 years’ experience working in the UK, Vietnam, Australia and Singapore. He has worked within Dentsu Aegis Network for over six years – starting at Carat London, before moving to Singapore in 2013 for the role of Managing Director of Vizeum Asia Pacific. In addition to his role at Vizeum, Duncan has also helped shape Dentsu Aegis Network’s programmatic and mobile offering.
